In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Creepy.”
This week, show us something creepy — because hey, we can’t take photos of rainbows and puppies every day. Well, okay, I guess we can. But let’s branch out anyway!
My hometown, San Francisco, gave us many iconic landmarks from Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Lombard Street, Fisherman’s Wharf, to Ferry Building. There are so many stunning places to visit and see, it is the only city in this country that I will always love dearly (sorry New York).
In response to this week’s photo challenge, I took this haunting image at North Beach last summer night after watched this hilarious show, Beach Blanket Babylon (a must-see and the longest running musical venue in the city if you are visiting San Francisco) with friends.
There were lights floating above us and against this Victorian style building with a mural illustrated a brief history about Little Italy, another iconic place to visit when you are here.
I played around with the setting and brightened the lights from this picture so they looked like abstract objects floating around sky. It might look strange to some people, but to me, it felt creepy in a beautiful way.
